1. Bt cotton growers only harvesting 1 ton per hectare - as the most successful

2. Price of rough cotton (Bt) Rp 2,100 per kg; Total Rp 2,100.000

3. With such calculation above Bt cotton grower only got Rp 2.100.000. Thus Bt cotton grower deficit around Rp 1,195,500 per ha per planting season or around US$113,85 (1 USD$ = Rp 10,500 to Rp 11,000 by June 2001).

4. These figures experienced by around 75 farmers in the village of Balong in the Kecamatanan (sub-district) Ujung Lo'e Bulukumba.
